Miss Parson’s 5th graders put their teamwork skills to the test as they worked together in groups to complete puzzles. Just like the football teams they drafted through NFeLementary, students learned that communication, collaboration, and working together are key to reaching a common goal!

🦖 Roaring into 3D! 🦕

In Mrs. Neu’s art class, Ms. Cook’s 4th graders transformed their creativity from flat to fantastic as they created dinosaur tri-ramas! Students brought their prehistoric scenes to life by turning 2D ideas into colorful, 3D creations. 🦕🎨

We love seeing our Dragons use their creativity, problem-solving skills, and imagination!

Tomorrow, students can wear their favorite hat to school for just $1! All proceeds will go toward supporting the Swarner family.

🐉📣 Spirit was in the air at our school-wide Pep Rally! 🏈🎶💙

Our students had a blast cheering on our football players, celebrating with our cheerleaders, and rocking out with members of the band! And, of course, we couldn’t forget a special visit from our very own Dragon mascot! 🐲🔥

🐉 Learning the CREEK Way! 🐉

Last week our students kicked off the year with a school-wide PBIS Expectations Tour! Throughout the day, students traveled around the building and beyond to learn, practice, and review what it means to be safe, respectful, responsible, and ready to learn in every space. 💙

From the playground, where students reviewed expectations for play structures and sports balls, to the pavilion, where our security guard and Student Success Coordinator shared expectations for the pavilion, arrival, and dismissal, our students were learning it all!

Students also visited the cafeteria, hallways, bathrooms, and water fountains to review expectations in each area. 🏫✨

A special highlight was learning about the CREEK Store from Mr. Love! Students learned how they can use their CREEK Slips to make purchases and celebrate their positive choices. 🛍️🐉

We are so proud of our students for being active learners and helping make our school a positive place for everyone! When we know the expectations, we can show what it means to be a CREEK STUDENT! 💙🐉

🏈 And the NFeLementary draft is officially underway! 🏈

Our 5th grade classes, Miss Parsons and Ms. Byrnes, kicked off an exciting year-long learning adventure by drafting their very own NFL teams! 🎉

Throughout the season, students will follow their team, track statistics, and use math, writing, research, and critical-thinking skills to connect classroom learning to what’s happening on the football field. 📊📝🔎

From analyzing stats and comparing data to researching players and teams, our students will get to see how the skills they’re learning in the classroom can be used in the real world—all while cheering on their team! 🏆

We can’t wait to see which teams come out on top! 🏈👏

🍪📚 These second graders are officially **SMART COOKIES!** 🍪✨

Mrs. Anderson’s class read *Smart Cookie* and then celebrated by decorating their very own cookies! From reading to creating, these students showed that learning can be both **smart AND sweet!** 🧠💗🍪
