Please note:
• Water and restrooms remain fully operational.
• Families who are able to pick up their children may do so starting immediately. If families are unable to pick up, we will follow dismissal at the end of the day.

The first day of the 2026–2027 school year is Monday, August 31, and we can’t wait to welcome our students back! Please remember that Monday is a half-day, with students attending in the afternoon.

School hours: 11:16 a.m.–2:20 p.m.
Swartz Creek Middle School
Doors open: 11:00 a.m.
School hours: 11:26 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Elementary Schools
Doors open: 12:20 p.m.
School hours: 12:30–3:25 p.m.
Beginning Tuesday, September 1
Students may enter their buildings at the following times each day:
High School: 7:00 a.m.
Middle School & VLC: 7:15 a.m.
Elementary Schools: 8:15 a.m.

We’ve created a new First Day of School 2026–2027 sign featuring our CREEK Code, and we’d love to see our Dragons with it!
Save the attached sign and print it for your child to hold in their first-day photo.
No printer? No problem! Save the sign to your phone or computer and add it to the first-day picture you take.
Then email your photo to mcorbat@swcrk.org with your child’s first name, and we will feature it on our district Facebook page.
Whether it’s a very first day of school, the start of senior year, or somewhere in between, we’re excited to have our Dragons back together.

Working with students across kindergarten through 5th grade, Mrs. Stewart and Mrs. McIntosh provide individualized instruction and support to help every student build academic skills, confidence, and independence. From learning a new skill to celebrating those “I did it!” moments, they are there to encourage students every step of the way! 🧩✏️🎉
They work closely with classroom teachers and families to help create meaningful learning experiences and ensure students have the support they need to succeed.
And a special welcome to Mrs. McIntosh, formerly known as Miss Trafford! 💙We’re excited to have her back for another school year with a new name!

Our 5th graders are in for an exciting year of learning, growing, and preparing for the next big step in their educational journey! 🎉
We’re excited to introduce Miss Parsons and Ms. Byrnes, who will be teaming up to make 5th grade a year to remember! 💙
➗🔬🌎 Miss Parsons will be teaching Math, Science/Social Studies, giving students plenty of opportunities to explore, problem-solve, and make connections across their learning.
📖✏️ Ms. Byrnes will be teaching Literacy and Writing, helping students strengthen their reading, writing, and communication skills while encouraging them to find their own voice.
With two dedicated teachers bringing their own strengths and passions to the classroom, our 5th graders are sure to have an incredible year! 🍎✨
