About Elms Road Elementary
Elms Road Elementary serves the Northeast Region of the Swartz Creek School District. We serve students from 3rd through 5th Grade.
Literacy is a major focus for us especially in the early grades and we run a rigorous system of supports complete with remedial small-group instruction to assist classroom teachers with keeping all learners on track. We continue to develop our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Program, providing a project-based science curriculum to our students along with their computer, art, music, and physical education specials.
We have an active Parent Teacher Association which assists us with family nights and student activities throughout the school year. We are also grateful to host our dads in the building as volunteers in the Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) Program. Our school has maintained NCA Accreditation for the past 8 Years.
